Dixie Flyer Flash interviewed Kean Webb, Dixie High School Basketball forward and center.

Webb is a lead player on our basketball team this year, so the Flyer Flash asked Webb how the season is looking.

Webb said that he feels confident in his team to come together and go all out and do everything to win.

“I personally feel we are two completely different teams. This year’s team has a lot of talent up and down the list,” Webb said.

The main goal this year is to win a state championship as last year we fell short, he said. The state championship will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 at Dixie State University against Snow Canyon High School.

Webb said the team is “humble but hungry,” Webb said.

Webb said the addition of Cam Dyer, senior guard, is a huge asset to the team.

“Cam Dyer a big addition brings energy and defense and offense too the team very talented player and just wants to win,” Webb said.

He said the “coach is confident in us to listen to him and go hard every time we play.” Webb said the team is like a family and is confident of their capabilities.

“We are family and we got each other’s backs always and we all wanna win and compete,” he said.
